About the competition

A national stage for every kind of artist

The Grand Indian Art Contest 2026 is a national level art competition organised by KCA INDIA to discover, encourage and celebrate artistic talent from Nursery to Professional Artists across India. Participants showcase their creativity through original artworks based on category specific themes and compete for prestigious national awards and recognition.

Open to all India

Anyone from Nursery to Professional Artists may enter, based on the eligibility of each category.

10 competition categories

A dedicated category and theme for every age group and every skill level.

Two level expert jury

An online screening followed by a final review of the original artwork.

National recognition

Featured on the KCA website, digital magazine, social media and news media.

Cash prizes and trophies

Cash prize, gold medal, silver coin and grand memento for every category winner.

How to participate

Register online

Complete the online registration form and pay the registration fee applicable to your category, then attach your payment screenshot inside the form.

Upload your artwork

After successful registration and fee verification, your Registration ID and the Artwork Submission Participation Form are sent to your WhatsApp number or email. Keep the Registration ID safe, it is required in the form. Upload a clear JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF of your artwork before the submission deadline.

A Registration ID is sent by WhatsApp or email after successful registration and payment verification. Keep it safe, you will need it to complete the artwork submission form.

Two level jury evaluation

Level 1

Online screening

Participants upload a clear JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF of their artwork inside the participation form. Expert judges evaluate every entry and shortlist the top 50 participants from each category.

Final jury evaluation

Shortlisted participants must send their original artwork on or before 30 December 2026. The final jury reviews the submitted original artworks to determine the winners. Failure to submit the original artwork within the prescribed timeline results in disqualification.

Rules and regulations

Only original handmade artwork is accepted.

Only one artwork is permitted per participant.

Artwork must be based on the prescribed topic and prepared on the prescribed sheet or canvas and size.

AI generated, copied, traced, digitally created or plagiarised artwork will be rejected.

KCA INDIA reserves the right to disqualify copied, duplicate or ineligible entries.

Digital editing is not permitted, except basic brightness adjustment and cropping.

The uploaded artwork must exactly match the original artwork and must be clear, high resolution and unedited.

Only shortlisted participants must submit their original artwork, on or before 30 December 2026.

Failure to submit the original artwork within the prescribed timeline results in disqualification.

The jury's decision shall be final and binding on all participants.

KCA INDIA reserves the right to amend the schedule, rules, awards or judging process whenever necessary.

Participation grants KCA INDIA permission to publish submitted artworks, participant names and photographs for promotional purposes without additional compensation, while giving due credit to the participant.
